Ellis is autistic. When he was 5 years old, he began to draw to communicate.
It was a discovery that changed his live forever because for the first time, Ellis and his family shared the same language. Since that time, he has been drawing for years about friendship, his place in the community, and life's little successes.

In an effort to inspire others, his dad began tracing his drawings onto glass using glass paint and framing them in shadow boxes. When light passes through the glass, a colourful shadow appears in the background creating a 3 dimensional illusion. Each framed painting comes with the actual story of the drawing conversation. All our art is handmade so each piece is unique!
